MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENTS

Mental Health Assessments are an important tool for evaluating one’s mental and emotional well-being. They involve a range of techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and observations. This data is used to identify the presence of mental health disorders, behavioral patterns, and other needs & concerns that may impact overall health & wellness.

SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Court-Ordered Assessments (onsite correctional services available)

  • Adolescent Assessments 12 y.o. - 19 y.o.

  • Intensive Behavioral Health Svcs (IBHS) Assessments & Written Orders

  • Adult Assessments 20 y.o. +

  • Family Assessments

  • In-Home Assessments may be considered pending the severity of symptoms, age & mobility. Travel fees may apply.

ASSESSMENTS INCLUDE:

  1. Biopsychosocial Factors such as individual, family, community, educational, and legal needs.

  2. Mental Health Conditions assessed through self-reports, historical documentation, observations, evaluation tools, collateral consultations, etc.

  3. Impact of Mental Capacity & Behaviors on Self, Family, Community & General Environment illustrated through a clinical summary, working diagnoses (per the DSM-5), and treatment recommendations.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONAL (SAP) PROGRAM

A Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) is a person who evaluates employees who have violated a U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.

At Blue Lotus CCS a U.S. DOT-qualified SAP will conduct an in-person evaluation of needs & concerns as they relate to the reported violation(s). Subsequently, a treatment plan will be developed, reviewed with the employee, and shared with the Designated Employee Representative (DER). The chosen SAP will ensure consistent & reliable follow-up with the employee and DER until all treatment goals are met.
